What this site does

Filament is an independently owned Dallas dining publication. It collects practical details from official venue sources and turns them into tools for planning a visit. Listings are researched summaries, not personal reviews. The owner’s name is not published; no invented author or dining experience is used.

The former restaurant

This domain previously served Filament, the Deep Ellum restaurant that closed in August 2017. The current publication is under new ownership and is unaffiliated with that restaurant, its chefs, or its former owners. The original archive has not been republished.

How entries are maintained

Each listing includes official links and a check date. Conflicts and unknown prices are identified explicitly. Check the restaurant’s own page before a visit; the directory does not show real-time availability.

Money and privacy

No listings in this release are paid placements, and there are no affiliate links. If that changes, the relevant links or placements will be disclosed. This site uses no advertising trackers or signup forms. Hosting providers may process ordinary access logs.
